Motiva’s unique and patented BluSeal® Barrier Layer Indicator provides a safety feature only present in Motiva Implants. The presence of a barrier layer minimises silicone gel diffusion into the body, a feature that has been a standard in the industry for more than 20 years. Now with the Motiva BluSeal® indicator, surgeons can finally verify the presence of this important safety component around the entire implant.
True MonoBloc™ Shell
The Motiva TrueMonobloc™ Shell is specifically designed to link all components of the implant to the same tensile strength. This allows the shell to act as a whole structure, making insertion easier and improving the implant mechanical qualities under stress.

Motiva Ergonomix™ Implants
Using the latest tools, the Motiva Design Team took up the challenge of rethinking what a natural implant should be. The answer to the question of how to mimic a natural breast came from the skilful application of the principles of ergonomics.
Motiva Ergonomix™ Implants are 100% filled implants that adapt their shape after implantation to give the natural look of traditional “anatomical” implants – without the complications associated with rotation and implant hardness.
TrueTissue Technology™ is the combination of a specially developed elastic shell and the special rheological properties of the Progressive Gel Ultima™ that combine with gravity to shift the maximum point of projection of the implant to the lower pole when the implant is in the upright position. When the implant is lying flat the maximum point of position moves back to the centre of the implant. It aims to mimic the natural movement of the breast tissue and is designed to move in synchrony with the movement of the patient.
Silk Surface Technology™
The specially designed Motiva Implant Surface is developed through 3D nanotechnology imprinting without the need for foreign materials such as salt or sugar crystals. It offers:
- A design aimed to ensure improved implant insertion through small surgical incision, with high viscoelastic properties of the gel and shell
- The BluSeal® Barrier Layer which allows for visible inspection of the barrier and an improved quality control that is not possible with a clear barrier
- A bio-engineered cell friendly surface that reduces inflammation and the consequences of chronic inflammatory processes such as seroma and double capsules. The implant behaves as a smooth implant in that it has low friction and low surface area for biofilm development but with the advantage of minimal capsule formation.
